CLIENT OBJECTIVE

The key objectives for XGen’s deployment with Mulac Cosmetics were to increase visitor engagement while improving sitewide conversion rates and revenue.

DEPLOYMENT

An A/B test was conducted wherein 50% of the site’s traffic was exposed to three XGen Smart Elements (B Group) and 50% was exposed to the current site and its pre-existing personalization elements (A Group). XGen elements were located on the Homepage, Product Details Pages, and Product Listing Pages. Preexisting personalization consisted of a Homepage carousel. Deployment required minimal man-hours from the client.

Results

XGen Personalization elements (B Group) produced a consistent 18% lift in revenue and 6% lift in Average Order Value after integration was complete. Furthermore, XGen’s Homepage Carousel increased user clicks by 208% vs. the pre-existing Homepage Carousel located on the A Group.
